Review: ‘Room 237’ An Outstanding, Fascinating & Funny Exploration & Celebration Of ‘The Shining’

I came across this article Indiewire’s ‘The Playlist’ and found it to be extremely interesting. The article discusses a theory about Kubrick’s The Shining, more specifically Room 237 and its significance. Moreover, other ideas are disputed, such whether Kubrick and his Art Director, Les Tomkins, purposefully chose specific products to be in frame in the Storeroom scenes, and whether they contribute to the interpretation that the film is really about American genocide. It is an interesting and thought- provoking article.
