On 6th November 2012, I went on a Recce of two potential locations for the final scene of our film, ‘Convictions.’ It is the only exterior scene in the script. The first location was The Cholera Monument, Norfolk Road, Sheffield, S2. The second location was Norfolk Heritage Park, Norfolk Park Road, Sheffield S2. The photos of both locations are below. They are both very similar, with a long straight path lined with trees on either side. Both locations still hold traces of Autumn, with golden and crisp leaves dominating the ground. It was decided that we would film at The Cholera Monument as it attracts less people to it, so therefore we would not have lots of members of the public in the background of the shots in this scene as, given the subject matter, it is written in the script as a private scene and a private conversation.
